Totally random, and in no order of importance...
1. After a blazing, stifling summer, the fall air is refreshing.
2.Fall cloths. Getting out my long pants I like to wear, sweatshirts of Jarrod’s that I acquired when we married, layers, and jackets. All without suffocating.
3. Long walks in the afternoon, and not having to wait until nighttime.
4. Crisp air in the morning when Carter and I go jogging.
5. Opening the windows to our home, to let the breeze through.
6. Fall leave garlands, scarecrows, and autumn berry wreaths
7. Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, hot apple cider, creamy soups, and candy corns!
8. Football!! Yes, you read it right. I love football thanks to an ever persistent husband.
9. The changing of the leaves. Living so close to the mountains we are able to go a short drive for breathtaking sceneries of the colorful leaves.
10. Cuddling under the blankets again.

Those are a few of my favorite fall things as well, except for the cookies, I eat those year round, they are my favorite.
Ohh, I love all of those things too. But, I love cooking the cookies, soups etc more than eating them I think. I hate cooking in the summer, fall is a time to get my kitchen grove back.
Awwwww
Amen to that. Fall is for sure my favorite season. In fact, I've decided that I am going to get married in October...the year is still up in the air.
ooooo my gosh... ya just had to remind me about the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies?
They may be creations of the adversary designed to tempt me to abandon all that is good and right in my life?
Is that overstating my love of those cookies?
Hey--thanks for the comment. (Really, who doesn't live for those?!) I can see that I will be visiting your site again--we seem to have a lot in common: Jane Austen, love of fall, writing books, 2 kids, and various other things from your profile. (Glenn Beck--fantastic!) I'd love to hear updates on your book--I have a few of those waiting to emerge too. Inspire me! Oh, and I wanted to make pumpkin choc chip cookies tonight, but didn't have a good recipe...
