I almost forgot!!

Well, not really. I remembered almost every day. Especially when I would be straining, trying to think of things to blog about. It was always in the back of my mind. My main excuse? Nary a picture. Well, none that turned out. So I got went to my ever dependent friend Google.

Our new (new to us) 2002 Kia Sedona. This is our first new (new to us) vehicle since my 1997 Hyundai Accent I have driven since Carter was knee-high to a grass hopper. We love it.
Lets do a looky through -I know you are all dying to...This is the interior. Pretty self explanatory. Power everything, duel sliding doors, the kids get their own seats. Both were a must for me.

This is where I add that our van is an Ex. The upgrade from the more common Lx. So we have a few more extras, including the wood panel kit. I’m not crazy about it, but I guess it’s an upgrade. One of my favorite things is the back seats. If you look close there are little hooks that are on the backs of the seats. They are to hold grocery bags, so you can put the heavy stuff on the floor, and the light things like bread and eggs on the hooks, and you don’t have to worry about them getting smashed. The other thing I like is that you can remove just one seat from the back row to give you a little extra cargo room.
And all the seats come out. Not fold away, but at least they come out one at a time if you don't want them all out.

So, that’s our van, complete with the family sticker on the back window.

Total upgrades? Our children don’t have to contort to fit in their seats. We have ‘cargo room’. Air conditioner. A radio that plays FM as well as AM so I can listen to my boyfriend Glenn Beck while driving around town (oh, and a CD player too). Cruse control. Windshield washer that actually sprays fluids. (yea clean windows!) Enough room between Jarrod and I so that our shoulders are no longer touching. 10 cup holders (we only use four- obviously) New tires. Rear heating and cooling. And enough cargo room to get all our stuff to Red Fish!!!
