T.T.A. time again folks, and our topic today is “What are your favorite summertime treats?”.
When I think of summer I think of lots of fruit and ice-cream cakes. My birthday is in Aug. and as an alternative to the usually mundane regular cake my mom would make the refreshing Jell-O Pudding Cake. There are lots of variations of it out there, but my mom would make the Lemon/Lime version, with yellow cake lime Jell-o and Lemon pudding instead of frosting.

The other thing that is a staple in our family is a trifle. My mom would (and still does) make one for ever 4th of July.
